Dating back five generations, Kinley has been a family owned and operated business. In the mid-1800’s, Adam Kinley was the first to own and operate several tannery-manufacturing warehouses in the southern tier of New York. The need for more local raw materials influenced Adam Kinley to purchase acreage of timberlands that are still within the family today. |

When oil was first discovered in northern Pennsylvania, Lewis Kinley (father of James H. Kinley) ventured into the oil industry; therefore forming Kinley Oil Company in 1909. The Kinley family continued to operate these oil and gas properties for the next 80 years in the western New York and northwestern Pennsylvania areas. The managing and harvesting of Kinley-owned Timberlands continued to play an important role in Kinley’s operations during this time period and into the present day. |

| Then, for the first time in Kinley history, the Kinley’s began an expansion era out of the New York region. Headed by J.L. Kinley (son of James H. Kinley) the expansion began in the early 1980’s by establishing operations in Nebraska, Oklahoma and Texas. In Omaha, Nebraska, J.L. & Jim Kinley purchased and developed an existing fuel terminal, which supplied jet fuel to the Offutt Air Force Base. After several years of managing the expansion in Omaha, J.L. Kinley set out to build additional fuel terminals in California, Idaho, North Dakota and other parts of Nebraska. This eventually led to the formation of Kinley Construction Company. |

| Meanwhile, Kinley Oil & Gas Company in New York was beginning to discontinue operations due to the depletion of oil reserves. As a result, Bell & Kinley Company was formed in Oklahoma City to continue operations in the oil & gas industry. Kinley’s oil & gas productions are now located in the Oklahoma and Texas regions. |
